Never Stop Learning . . .

I am truly delighted to have had the opportunity to conduct a class for the three days  ‘Photojournalism Workshop’ conducted by Press Institute Bangladesh ( PIB )  and Bangladesh Photo Journalist’s Association ( BPJA ).

Throughout the workshop, many senior photojournalists and resourceful persons shared their knowledge and experiences, offering insightful discussions on various dimensions of photojournalism. I believe their contributions were profoundly valuable for all participants.

Celebrating 2025 World Photography Day . . .

I picked up a camera in the late 90s and have been working as a visual journalist ever since, covering news, documentaries, and human-interest stories across the country for National and International news media’s. Presently work with european pressphoto agency / epa based in Bangladesh.

Grateful to have turned my childhood passion into a lifelong journey—over 25 years of photography, making a living, and supporting my family.

Wherever I go, I seek the life unfolding around me. My camera is always with me—through its lens I feel, I listen, I breathe. I seek stories in moments, in pictures, and in the quiet poetry of words . . .

📷 Many thanks to my beloved son MEGH 💕 took this beautiful portrait.

BBC News Article : Love, loss and duty: Ukraine’s photojournalists share stories of war. Photojournalists may read this article . . .

In the three years since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, hundreds of photographers have documented the human impact of the war on the front line and in civilian areas.

Some of them have shared stories about their photos which have appeared in BBC coverage since February 2022.

“To lose your friend in an attack inside Russia, rather than defending our country in Ukraine, is very difficult,” he said. “I took this photo because of the emotional impact it had on me. It says a lot about the situation and how hard it was for them.”

Climate Refugee in Bangladesh . . .

Climate change touches already every corner of the world and every aspect of people’s lives. As the global temperature increases, its impacts will become even more extreme. The impact of climate change world is already facing food and fuel crises. World Bank and IMF have sounded a larger alarm push 100 million people in low-income countries deeper into poverty. In Bangladesh we are seeing rice-crises firsthand everyday. The long queues on the roadside subsidized rice sale centers are probably an indication of the coming hunger, when 30 million people will face starvation. In Bangladesh natural disasters like SIDR, River Erosion, Drought and Flood mass migration of people from the countryside to the cities. Visions of money, food and a better life, but many of they failed to realize their dreams lured the migrants, and the rural poor became the urban poor. I began to document of marginal condition in my own country. My investigation finally brought me to a climate refugee in Bangladesh.
