Begum Khaleda Zia is no more . . .

BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia , 80 died today (30 December 2025) at 6:00 a.m. at Evercare Hospital. Her personal physician, Prof. AZM Zahid Hossain, confirmed the death.

BNP Protest Rally in Dhaka (news)

02 May 2012 Dhaka, Bangladesh- Bangladeshi Police watch during the BNP protest at Nayapalton  Dhaka. The main opposition party BNP hold a protest rally at Nayapaltan in the capital on Wednesday. BNP standing committee member Moudud Ahmed made the announcement his party will stage countrywide demonstrations on Sunday to mount pressure on the government to trace its missing leader M Ilias Ali. He also demands immediate withdrawal of the cases. The filing cases are not going to weaken BNP s protest.
