02 May 2012 Dhaka, Bangladesh- Bangladeshi Police watch during the BNP protest at Nayapalton  Dhaka. The main opposition party BNP hold a protest rally at Nayapaltan in the capital on Wednesday. BNP standing committee member Moudud Ahmed made the announcement his party will stage countrywide demonstrations on Sunday to mount pressure on the government to trace its missing leader M Ilias Ali. He also demands immediate withdrawal of the cases. The filing cases are not going to weaken BNP s protest. 17 Jan 2012 Dhaka. Bangladesh-  BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Tuesday appeared on the Dhaka court to submit her bail bond in connection with Zia Charitable Trust graft case. The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the case on August 8 with Tejgaon Police Station against Khaleda and three others accusing them of abusing power in collusion with each other for setting up a charitable trust named after late president Ziaur Rahman.  © Monirul Alam
