May 22, 2012 – Dhaka, Bangladesh – An annular solar eclipse is observed in Dhaka May 22, 2012. An annular solar eclipse was observed across Bangladesh on Tuesday. The eclipse started at Bangladesh time night 2.56:06 am and lasted till morning 8:49:24 am. The highest point of the eclipse was observed at morning 5:52:48 am lasted 5 minutes 42 sec. The last annular solar eclipse observed in January 2010. The next total eclipse will be seen from Bangladesh 105 years later, in 2114 while the next annular solar eclipse in 2064. © Monirul Alam

The second and last lunar eclipse of the year, which began at 17:36pm Saturday, lasted until 22.30pm. This is the second total lunar eclipse this year and the last until 2014.
