I thinks it’s a —Light Pray Worship events ! The environment gradually turn from darkness to light. As an eyewitness I delighted to observed it, last week I was their and to do coverage a beautiful events. It’s Hindu religious worship.They called  “Rakher Upobash” or “Kartik Brati”. 

I takes on my position and than closely observe the events. The ritual begins after a day long fast to all devotees has been going to their temple for join worship during the worship they carries with earth made oil lamps, banana leaves, various fruits, holy book with all religious manners; they sits on the temple ground and than praying with sacred songs and music; they pray for their love ones, the environment creates with smoke and spiritual sprit, after their prayers then they brake fast.

Lokenath Brahmachari who is called Baba Lokenath was an 18th century Hindu saint and philosopher in Bengal. Sometimes he is even considered to be a living god. Hindu devotees fast and pray in earnest to the gods for their favors during the ritual traditionally. #Dhaka #Bangladesh

Hindu Rath Yatra Festival 2017

June 25, 2017- Dhaka, Bangladesh – Bangladeshi Hindu devotees attend in the annual festival of Rath Yatra, or chariot procession, in Dhaka, Bangladesh on June 25, 2017. The Ratha Yatra involves a public procession with a chariot with deities Jagannath (Vishnu avatar), Balabhadra (his brother), Subhadra (his sister) and Sudarshana Chakra (his weapon) on a ratha, a wooden deula-shaped chariot. It attracts over a million Hindu pilgrims who join the procession each year.

Hindu folk festival | Charak Puja

Charak Puja also known as Nil Puja is a Hindu folk festival held in southern Banhladesh and West Bengal on the last day of the month of Chaitra in Bengali calender called Choitro. 

People believe that the festival will carry prosperity by eliminating the sorrow and sufferings of the previous year. The festival is actually a festival to satisfy Load Shiva, the great Debadideb of Hindu Religion. Though the festival takes place on the mid night of Chaitra Songkranti, the preparation phase usually starts before one month of the day. In Bangladesh, it is frequently found to take place at Thakurgaon, Patuakkhali,Gazipur, Dhaka and other district in villages and cities.

The arrangement team of the festival go from village to village to procure the necessary components like paddy, oil, sugar, salt, honey, money and other items with the arranged cosmetics such as Shiva, Parvati and Narod.On midnight of the Songkranti, the worshippers are gathered together to worship the God and after puja the or asad is distributed.
