সংবাদ আলোকচিত্র ~ সাশ্রয়ী মূল্যে টিসিবির পণ্য ( ট্রাক সেল ) কিনতে সাধারণ মানুষ এভাবেই লাইনে দাড়িয়ে তাদের প্রয়োজনীয় পণ্যটি কিনছেন । রোজাকে সামনে রেখে সারাদেশে ন্যায্যমূল্যে নিত্যপণ্য বিক্রি কার্যক্রম শুরু করেছে, সরকারি বিপণন প্রতিষ্ঠান ট্রেডিং করপোরেশন অব বাংলাদেশ (টিসিবি)। সারাদেশের ১৭৯টি স্থানে ট্রাকে করে ৫টি নিত্যপণ্য বিক্রি করছেন প্রতিষ্ঠানটি। রাজধানী ঢাকার প্রায় ৩২টি ব্যস্ততম স্থানে টিসিবির এ সকল পণ্য বিক্রির কার্যক্রম চলছে। বাহাদুর শাহ র্পাক, পুরান ঢাকা ২৮ মে ২০১৭, ঢাকা, বাংলাদেশ । ছবি: মনিরুল আলম

Police use a water canon on protestors during a half-day long strike against the gas price increase in Dhaka, Bangladesh on February 28, 2017. Activists from the Progressive Students’ Alliance, the student wing of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and the Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) along with components of the Gonotantrik Bam Morcha (a coalition of left-leaning political parties), organized the strike after the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission announced increased gas prices for all consumers.
