4 killed, 100 hurt in clashes across country in Bangladesh

Jamaat clash with police |Dhaka

Dhanka April 2011. During the clash a group of Jamaat-e-Islami activists through brickbats from the Baitul Mukarram mosque to the police and police through water cannon.   Activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami locked into a clash with police Tuesday afternoon in the city’s Paltan area after they were barred from holding a rally at Muktangon. Around 1,000 of activists Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir clashed with police. At least 25 people, including 10 police, were injured in the half-an-hour clash witness said.
