We, the national and international photojournalists and Pathshala teachers, posed for a group photo with Anna Kuéma, Program Manager of the World Press Photo Foundation, after her insightful presentation and discussion in two separate sessions on WPP Education and the upcoming World Press Photo Contest 2025 submission guidelines, among other topics.

At the same time, we were celebrating the World Press Photo 70th-anniversary exhibition and pop-up festival at Drik Gallery in Dhaka.

26 April 2012 Dhaka, Bangladesh:  Ambassador ALPHONS HENNEKENS kingdom of the Netherlands visit the exhibition gallery after the launching programs.  World Press Photo Exhibition is open at DRIK gallery in Bangladesh. This is the first public viewing of the exhibition after the launch in Amsterdam.  The exhibition opened guest of Honor and H.M. Ambassador ALPHONS HENNEKENS kingdom of the Netherlands officially and also present World Press Photo coordinator FEMKE van der VALK, Professor AFSAN CHOWDHURY BRAC University, Drik Managing Director Dr. SHAHIDUL ALAM and former World Press Jury-2011 ABIR ABDULLAH.  World Press Photo exists to inspire understanding of the World through quality photojournalism. © Monirul Alam
