Stop Violence Against Challenged Person

ON ASSIGNMENT | 24012013

Notes: Yesterday, I coverage an assignment near press club, NFOWD member and physically challenge SAGIR ( in the picture) said, we came here to demand a judicial inquiry and stop all violence against challenged person into recent media report mob beatings and killed three person in Gazipur. As journalist into my observation he is really to straggle to stand on the busy street with his others friends towards the result a few media to coverage it!

Jan. 23, 2013 – Dhaka, Bangladesh – An angry teachers burn effigy of Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid during their demonstration in front of press club. Several hundred teachers and staff of non-government schools, colleges and madrasas from across the country started a sit-in the Jatiya Press Club demanding nationalization of their jobs in Dhaka on Wednesday January, 23, 2013. According to the media report education minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Wednesday said there is a political motive behind the demonstration of non-government school, college and madrasa teachers for nationalization of their jobs. Jan. 20, 2013 – Dhaka, Bangladesh – A group of local residents hold a protest rally in Dhaka on Sunday to demand trial against those responsible for the death of a 10-year-old girl found raped and killed. According to local media reports, 10-year-old Ritu Akter, missing since Monday, was found dead in the bathroom of a commercial building at Topkhana in the capital on Saturday. © Monirul Alam

War Crimes Tribunal in Bangladesh

Beyond. In Morocco, I snapped this photo of a tower. Though I focused my camera on the tower, it wouldn’t have been half as interesting without all of the houses, roofs, textures, colors, and action happening beyond the tower. Hopefully your eye was drawn to the rest of the picture as I hoped it would be.

Posh Sankranti Celebrate in Dhaka

Bangladeshi child look at on the sky to see firework and enjoys a Paush Shankranti in his roof top. –Old Dhaka people especially in Hindu community enjoys posh Sankranti with different activities as a man blows fire in the evening at old Dhaka Patla Khan Lane on Monday. Paush Shankranti’ is the last day of Bengali month Paush. This traditional festival is locally known as ‘Shakhrine’. People of the old Dhaka celebrate Shakhrine with colorful kite flying during the day and fire eating or blowing performances after dark. © Monirul Alam
