Activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami locked into a clash with police Tuesday afternoon in the city’s Paltan area after they were barred from holding a rally at Muktangon. Around 1,000 of activists Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir clashed with police. At least 25 people, including 10 police, were injured in the half-an-hour clash witness said.
