১. মেঘ’কে ক্লাসে দিয়ে এসে—এখানে বসলাম । জায়গাটা এককথায় সুন্দর, প্রকৃতি এখানে অনেকটা জীবন্ত ! শীতের সকালে এক মগ কফি আর সঙ্গে একটা বই নিয়ে বসলেই, অনায়েসেই ঘন্টা খানিক সময়—কাটিয়ে দেয়া যায় ।
এক মগ ক্যাপাচিনো কফি অর্ডার করে, স্কটিশ লেখক অ্যালিস্টায়ার ম্যাকলিনের লেখা ‘নাইট উইথআউট ইন্ড’ বইটি নিয়ে পড়তে শুরু করলাম ।
গ্রিনল্যান্ড আইস ক্যাপের মাঝখানে যাত্রীবাহী বিমানের সন্দেহজনক ক্রাশ-অবতরণ দিয়ে গল্পটি শুরু, আইস ক্যাপে কাজ করতে যাওয়া তিনজন বিজ্ঞানী সেই যাত্রীদের উদ্ধার অত:পর নানা ঘটনা—এভাবেই থ্রিলার উপন্যাসটি এগিয়েছে । বইটি পড়তে পড়তে মেঘের ডাকে যেন ফিরে এলাম; সেই গ্রিনল্যান্ডের—আইস ক্যাপ থেকে ।
২. এখন পর্যন্ত অমর একুশে গ্রন্থমেলায় দুইবার যাওয়া হয়েছে, কিছু বই কেনা হয়েছে, আরো কিছু বই কেনার বাকি আছে। বই মেলার সময় শেষ হয়ে আসছে, সময় করে আর একবার যেতে চাই . . .

Pahela Baishakh Bengali New Year also called Pohela Boishakh, is the traditional new year day of the Bebgali people . It is celebrated on 14 April as a national holiday in Bangladesh, and on 14 or 15 April in the India states of West Bengal, Tripura and elsewhere by people of Bengali heritage, irrespective of their religious faith. The festival date is set according to the lunisolar Bengali calendar as the first day of its first month Baishakh. In Bangladesh The UNESCO added the Mangal Shobhajatra festival on Pahela Baishakh among other new items to the safeguarding intangible cultural heritage list during their 11th session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, that runs from 28 November to 02 December.

I remember when I met you in the house of terror
Of what you gave me and surrender to me.
In those moment in which the light was a dream or a miracle.
However, you were the light among the darkness.
We were as one in our misfortune.
Today,after thousands of misfortunes more.
I can see you, as I did then, always looking forward.
We will see each other again through the fog that we will disperse.

Bangladeshi young people celebrate a Paush Shankranti in their roof top at old part of Dhaka, Every year on 14 January people celebrate it with joy of happiness.The Paush Shankranti is the last day of Bengali month Paush. The day is also known as ‘Makar Sangkranti’ it’s celebrate like India, Nepal and Bangladesh. In Bangladesh, young people of the old Dhaka celebrate Shakhrine with colorful kite flying during the day and than fire eating or blowing performances after dark with fireworks,music cracker works. also arranged.
The kite fighting gets all the more serious in the afternoon. Even the oldest members of the family join the youth. Meanwhile, different kinds of rice cakes, deserts and confections are made for the occasion. The festival is basically an event of joy, happiness and friendship. The scenes of Shakrain demonstrate the canvas of brotherhood and cheerfulness of old Dhaka dwellers.
