[Shooter Diaries] 2014

I was returning my #home from #Mirpure to #Old Dhaka #Patla #Khan #Lane with my motor bike a while I stop it in #Kakrail road near the #willes Little Flower #School & #College to observed the #thunder lighting and than #shooting it, finally I got into #thunderstorm after that a few minutes I went to my #roof top and than try again, I was luck to make a few shots, I try my best and hook it and of course my mother #nature favor me. Finally We received our certificate from brac and pathshala, during our certificate giving ceremony on 19th April, 2014, at the BRAC University hall with the faculty members of BRAC vice Chancellor Prof. Ainun Nishat , Prof. Firdous Azim, Head of the Department English and PATHSHALA Arnob Chakarrbarty , Head of the Department Broadcast and Cross-Media, Muhammad Aminnuzzaman, Faculty member with all participants Fall-2013 to take poses for group photos. The BRAC University and PATHSHALA in Collaboration with Erasmus University, Rotterdam the Netherlands organized a Post-Graduation Certificate Course in Broadcast & Cross-Media Journalism. When I was a student of Pathshala I spend many times to see his book like Calcutta, TajMahal, India 2001 Bhopal Gas Tragedy,Mere Teresa,India Notes . . . some time I borrow his book from Pathshala library. I think in our sub-continent {maybe the other part of the world} many photographer influences his dramatic works. A few years after- finally I meet him and talked him and get an opportunity to make an interview. Yes I say the world renowned and Magnum Photos photographer Raghu Rai.

I see him as a simple outfit man like other ordinary man and not to caring many more gadgets. Finally we meet at Drik cafe and try to know his photography inner thinking and philosophy. I…
