Cyclone Remal and our Judging event of Bangladesh Press Photo Contest 2024 . . .

Cyclone Rimal has started to affect in the Dhaka city since this morning. It is torrential rain with stormy wind, water has accumulated somewhere on the streets. I put on a raincoat and went out on my motorcycle and to go to Drik for Bangladesh Press Photo Contest 2024 judging. I reached Drik on time. Other judges arrived, after a while our judging is started.

Here is my short observation about this Press Photo Contest as a judge: Photojournalists of Bangladesh participated in this Press Photo contest as they proved once again how powerful a single image is ! Which surpasses other branches of Press Media.

Its importance can be understood by looking at the award-winning pictures and the displayed pictures. Because they give new ideas to photojournalists, photo editors and newspaper editors and readers as well as those who involved in the news media industry.

Once again thanks to Drik and all the judges, the organizing team of Bangladesh Press Photo Contest 2024.

Certificate Giving . . .

Finally We received our certificate from brac and pathshala, during our certificate giving ceremony on 19th April, 2014, at the BRAC University hall with the faculty members of BRAC vice Chancellor Prof. Ainun Nishat , Prof. Firdous Azim, Head of the Department English and PATHSHALA Arnob Chakarrbarty , Head of the Department Broadcast and Cross-Media, Muhammad Aminnuzzaman, Faculty member with all participants Fall-2013 to take poses for group photos. [ Dream & Reality ] Work in Progress

My works are #symbolic representations of my thought about everyday #life as it appears to us. During my study project named #Dream & #Reality since my #photography learning in 1994.I tried to start as an experiment basis used such procedures as double exposure, combination painting, and many more method which applied. That time such #experiment attracted #people and attention and inspiring me too and influence my inner thought to explore my work, while I continue it till nowadays. I try to more #experiment through my #digital device with digital #darkroom it’s really exciting. [Education] Cross-Media Journalism

Finally I was successfully completed in my Post-Graduation Certificate Course in Broadcast & Cross-Media Journalism under the BRAC University and PATHSHALA in Collaboration with Erasmus University, Rotterdam the Netherlands. BRAC University and PATHSHALA organized a certificate ceremony in upcoming month (March, 2014) hopefully.

During our long term courses I learned a lot, especially in a new media concept to apply my professional point of view, like Cross-Media Communication experiences that happen across multiple media, like the Internet, web, video, film, broadcast and cable TV, mobile devices, DVD, print, and radio. Yes, it’s a long experience journey for wondering wisdom. Our final project is highly appreciated from the Academics of BRAC & PATHSHALA.

I thanks to all of my colleagues, friends and staff to get me an opportunity to learn it. I hope it would be a good drives for me to applying in our New Media World. My personal goals are focused around repeatedly improving myself through education and applying my professional fields with new experience. It is also important to me to find financial stability in life through progressing in my career and achieving my goals . . .
