May 16, 2013 – Chittagong, Bangladesh – Bangladeshi police urge people to move to safer areas ahead of the arrival of tropical cyclone Mahasen in Chittagong, Bangladesh. People living in coastal areas in Bangladesh and Myanmar are being evacuated as cyclone Mahasen is expected to make landfall late Thursday or early Friday, according to news reports. Police have charged with batons and arrested to disperse hundreds of students of Jagannath University blocking streets near the Topkhan road on September 25, 2011. Hundreds of university students staged a demonstration on Sunday demanding the scrapping of a clause in the Jagannath University Act, 2005, which deems the institution ineligible of receiving government funding,  media reported.
