BLACK NIGHT 1971 Bangladesh . . .

The black night of March 25, 1971 when the Pakistani occupation forces kicked off one of the worst genocides in history that led to a nine-month war for the independence of Bangladesh in 1971. Every year different socio-cultural and educational organizations chalk out elaborate programs to observe 25th March. In 2013 I was documents the present situation after its 42 years of Independence.

Thousands of people holds national flags and  took oath at   Rayerbazar Baddhabhumi (mass killing ground) in the capital in Dhaka 23 February 2013. They demand of death penalty to war criminals and ban on Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) are fulfilled.  14.Dec 2011, Dhaka, Bangladesh- People from all walks of life reiterated the demand for trial of the war criminals as they paid tribute to the martyred intellectuals on Wednesday at Mirpur Martyred Intellectual Monument .
